  • pragmatic, if i were you, i'd change my moniker. the coupling between your nick and your question is ironic, to say the least.

  • what you say is true ghassan. it is paradoxical indeed. that's part of the reason i found those posts surreal.

  • Ghassan - I don't know what you mean by "[my] politics". My politics is not the same as Dan's.

  • Ghassan,

Perhaps you are right, only that my blog focuses on the conflicts in the Middle East (and the analyses/discussion of these) rather than purely economic-political-philosophical analyses. Actually, anarchism would naturally be less "obvious" than say Marxism and communism, because whereas the latter focus on aspects of class struggle, we do not. We focus on freedom from power and authority imposed upon individuals and groups, whatever their personal/collective beliefs may be. So you will see more of an attack on the state and the government based on the restrictions they impose and the artificiality of their existence, but not a lot about workers' struggle, etc. Though I also do have socialist tendencies... You might also want to check out some of my older posts, check out for example the posts under the tag class struggle, you will find some entries on zionist-socialism (a research paper, actually), criticism of ATTAC's position on WTO, HezbAllah and the welfare 'state', March 14 and leftism, the Lebanese left, anarchist Black Blocs (of which I was a part) etc.
