• i think it means to all lebanese, whether you're 1/4, 1/2 or full. Anyone who truly loves being lebanese and is proud of it! Also someone who probably has a sincere care for their homeland. That's how I like to think of it. There are Lebanese out there who don't give a rat's ass about lebanon, so they don't count. See what I'm saying?

• :D I know, I'm just being picky. But although I know the person who sent me the email didn't mean it in that way, this quote actually falls under a more general attitude of the "our vision for lebanon is better" - which isn't all that bad of course, unless it's attached to dogmatic zeal. And it's sometimes attached to the concept of one leader being more "nationalistic" than another, which is open to interpretation.

• This is typical of right wing idiots. In their lexicon, a true lebanese usually means someone who is full of hate for Syrians, Palestinians, Muslims, etc...
  This kind of rethoric is not encountered only in Lebanon but also among all ultra-right parties throughout the world. Le Pen in France talks about "La France réelle".
