What was the point?
The UNSC passed the resolution, and the respective (and not respected) parties will vote on them within the next couple of days. In the meantime, the IDF will continue its kind incursion in Lebanon.However, it all begs the question:
What exactly was accomplished?

yes ghassan, accountability is important. both on the domestic scene AND on the international scene. which implies what you had written, as well as demanding war reparations from our kind neighbor below.
